Two longtime friends of BoA:Audio make their seasonal return to the program as Marie Jones and Larry Flaxman, known as the Paraexplorers, detail their two new books: The Grid and Viral Mythology. As is the fashion when we all get together, the playbook and questions essentially get thrown out the window in favor of organic conversation and abstract discussion.
Over the course of the program, we delve into Marie & Larry’s grid theory from a variety of angles including what happens after death, information as a ‘force,’ the mutable nature of reality, and other heady topics.
In discussing Viral Mythology, we get into ancient aliens, how vast amounts of information about our ancestry has been lost forever, Binnall’s obsession with the caduceus, and lots more. Plus, we somehow end up talking about the missing Malaysian airline and, briefly, One Direction or, as Larry prefers to call them, 1D.
Like meeting up with old friends at the corner pub, the conversation seemingly picks up right where we left off the last time we saw them and continues into new and intriguing waters as Marie Jones and Larry Flaxman joins us once again on BoA:Audio.
