In one of the more unique episodes in our storied history, BoA:Audio welcomes actor, comedian, and longtime listener to the program, Steve Berg, for a raucous conversation about UFOs, the paranormal, life in Hollywood, and whatever else happened to come up over the course of nearly three hours.

As part of our standard bio / background on Steve Berg, we find out how he wound up moving out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting which has led him to starring on TV programs like 'Drunk History,' 'Idiot Sitter,' and 'The Good Place.' We also learn about his interest in the paranormal, particularly UFOs, which has been another major threads throughout his life.

From there, the conversation takes a freewheeling turn, beginning with Steve's fascination with some of the more obscure elements of ufology, specifically underground rumors of disclosure. This leads to talk about some of the more interesting characters in ufology, the disclosure movement, as well as conspiracy theorists and how that field has taken a turn for the weird in recent years.

There's also some brief talk about politics (sorry!), a Skinwalker Ranch movie Steve was involved in, how he has seen how Hollywood is surprisingly unreceptive to paranormal concepts, the TV show 'People of Earth,' Stephen Greer's big movie from this summer, and how Steve's friends in Hollywood feel about his paranormal interests.

Steve and Binnall reflect on how the two of them are huge fans of the other person's world, which is incredibly strange but also understandable, since we each work in truly fantastically weird worlds. Somehow this turns to talk about the news that 'they' decoded the Voynich Manuscript, which leads to Binnall sharing some insights into the world of freight train riders, believe it or not.

Other topics as the show progresses includes Steve's appearance on 'Drunk History' discussing the Roswell incident and how he got some backlash from UFO buffs for the way the show portrayed the case. This turns into Steve's appreciation for Bruce Rux, the annual BoA:Audio Ruxgiving special, and the 'legendary' backstory of how Binnall found Bruce. We also touch on the mysterious William Bramley.

We come back around to talking about unique and unusual characters from ufology's past like Jamie Shandera and Rick Doty as well as the greatness of Greg Bishop's Project Beta. We also break the 4th wall and talk about some of the early BoA:Audio season finale guests who were enormous stars like David Icke, John Lear, and Jacques Vallee.

Digging into another topic we love to beat to death on the show, but this time from a completely different perspective, we discuss the 'ufology is dead' thread that has been around in recent years and we talk about how it's not dead, just really lame and the opposite of the countercultural phenomenon it once was. We also discuss how it seems like the UFOs bailed on Earth sometime in the last twenty years or so.

By sheer happenstance, we then stumble into a lengthy discussion of the iconic Adam Davies' portal experience, which Steve and so many other listeners have been riveted by over the last few years. Additionally, we find about Steve's sad lack of paranormal experiences in his life, his appreciation for Jeff Ritzmann, and then we somehow wind up musing about the weirdness of getting old.

Getting deep into weeds at this point, we begin to fantasize about driving out to the 'Bigfoot portal' and what would happen if we did. Heading towards the close, we talk about Jim Carrey's recent weird interview about the bullshit of Hollywood, how a 'Mad Men' of ufology would be a great TV show, and how Binnall's theory on a generational change for UFO acceptance seems to be faltering.

Closing out this marathon conversation, we daydream about Steve becoming filthy rich from Hollywood and how he'd use it to explore his interest in UFOs as well as traveling the country to different paranormal conferences. This results in Steve asking about the future of BoA beyond Season X and Binnall gives us clues to what may come next for 'the brand.'

And, putting an end to the festivities, we continue to reflect on the end of BoA:Audio as Steve talks about his favorite ways to listen to the show and what he'd like to see come of the program in the future. Steve then plugs his appearance on the FOX NFL Preshow that he taped a few hours before the interview which will air on Sunday. Going deep one last time with Steve, we ask him if we'll ever find out the answer to UFOs or anything in the paranormal in our lifetime.
