You see, back in 2003 when The Noor first joined Coast, C2C HQ brought him this very concept : A Sci Fi Talk Show. Never one to turn down his new employers, Noory went along for the ride. 
Unfortunately, what he didn't find out, until reaching the studio, was that this was no ordinary talk show. In order to "mainstream" the world of the esoteric, they brought in a more palatable host than The Noor : ALF. Sadly, when push came to shove, ALF also got the desk, while The Noor had to settle for the couch. 
The Noor was outraged. He was the Nighthawk, for goodness sakes ! But the professional in him won that battle and he endured ... until ALF made his third Uranus joke of the night. At that point, Noory stood, tore off his mic, and declared that he wouldn't prostitute the esoteric that he so knew and loved. Sadly, it didn't take long for Sci Fi to find a better fit for their high concept esoteric talk show.
