The esoteric world has been abuzz over the last few weeks, as a basic cable war has broken out between dueling esoteric programs, each dubbed "UFO Hunters." Both UFO Magazine and TAPS have dogs in the fight and some see the battle as an emerging "turf war" in esoterica.
On the heels of the programs' respective debuts, newz comes rumbling from the West that a third "UFO Hunter" is about to enter the fray. That's right ... jumping right into the fire and set to air on Wednesday nights at 10 PM on WE (Women's Entertainment), "George Noory - UFO Hunter" aims to take a bite out of the competition. Each week, viewers are invited to join The Noor and his trusty canine companion Scraps, as they investigate alleged UFO sightings across the country. Armed with a variety of firepower, ranging from rifles to nunchucks, Noory promises to "get to the bottom" of the UFO sightings and rid the area of any alien influence ... by any means necessary. Television insiders remain torn over whether Noory and company are taking the "hunter" aspect of "UFO Hunters" a bit too far, especially after newz emerged last week that The Noor had shot down a hot air balloon with his shotgun.
