There's more than a little bitterness emanating from the halls of C2C HQ this month, as they have watched the meteoric rise of NBC's new hit show "American Gladiators."

Apparently, the revival of Gladiators was an idea that came straight from The Noor, himself, who championed a "new era" for the vaunted franchise ... albeit with an esoteric twist.

Originally envisioned as esoteric superstars versus normal people in athletic contests, the concept was quickly tweaked when casting revealed that 90% of all esoteric superstars are grossly out of shape.

Instead, the only remaining paranormal folks, The Noor, Hoagland, and Linda Moulton Howe, were joined by a bevy of failed bodybuilders and pro. rasslers who were given esoteric names like "Annunaki" and "Uranus".

Sadly, creative differences quickly erupted at the taping of the pilot, when Hoagland criticized the "non-hyperdimensional" aspects of the contests, LMH was involved in a cat fight with another lady Gladiator over the use of her trademark beret, and The Noor went nose-to-nose with co-host Hulk Hogan over the true origins of the pyramids.

Seeing the writing on the wall, NBC quickly scrapped the esoteric elements of the show and went back to the classic "American Gladiators" model which you see on TV today.
