There's a lot of buzz about the new J.J. Abrams film "Cloverfield," a modern day "monster movie" about a massive beast that runs amok over New York City.
The monster's appearance has been a closely guarded secret, resulting in fervent speculation.
The movie had been discussed in the Hot Newz offices, but was dismissed when we couldn't find an esoteric connection ... until now.
Our sources in the action figure industry recently sent us an advance version of the "Cloverfield" monster and we were stunned by its striking resemblence to C2C host George Noory. A few calls to our LA connections confirmed what the action figure suggested: the film will tell the story of an esoteric radio host, Noory Cloverfield, on-location in New York to discuss bio-engineering at the mysterious Plum Island. A series of mild explosions and toxic spills cause The Noor to become radiated, grow to massive proportions, and destroy NYC. Confidentiality agreements have kept Noory from promoting his role in "Cloverfield", but Hollywood insiders are already calling this his "break-out" role and plans are underway for a Noory Cloverfield v. Richard C. Mothra sequel. |
