Insiders are not sure whether it was his short-lived daytime court series Judge Noory or his discovery of the "new" TV series "Law and Order", but The Noor seems to have been bitted by the judicial bug.
As such, C2C HQ staffers were recently instructed to drop everything they were working on, including a sitcom pilot revolving around Louis Turi and a monkey, to devote all of their energy into coming up with a new film vehicle for The Noor to take advantage of his newfound love of all things court-related. A quick trip to Blockbuster provided all the inspiration they would need. A few creative changes later and the new "Noory as a lawyer" film was ready to begin production ... Set in rural New Mexico, the film sees The Noor's wayward cousin, Sean David Morton, and his buddy, Ed Dames, accused of a crime they didn't commit: making an accurate prediction. Unfortunately, the two wayward prognosticators were to be tried for witchcraft under the dastardly Judge Hoags, known for ruling with an iron fist and often citing "hyperdimensional law" as reasons for immediate execution of guilty parties. Luckily for them, they are saved by Morton's cousin, Jorge Noory, aspiring lawyer, and his plucky fiancee Linda Mona Howe. Hilarity and hijinks soon follow in ... "My Cousin Noory" ... coming to DVD in time for the holiday season. |
