| Moments after Art Bell signed off of C2C for the "final time", his private Pahrump phone line rang. The caller ? No, not the Noor, but pro. rasslin' legend Terry Funk, himself a multi-time retiree.
The Hardcore Icon cut right to the chase ... he needed a tag team partner ... someone who thought like him, fought like him, and retired like him. Bell was a little weary, what with his bad back and all, but Funk assured him that pro. wrestling is "almost as fake as the paranormal." Seeing the wisdom in that, Bell agreed to be his tag team partner for the Funker's 2007 retirement tour. Appearing alongside Bell and Funk at various National Guard Armories throughout the South will be the mysterious "El Feo Ian", whom wrestling insiders claim is so hideous that the Athletic Commission demanded he wear a mask in order to protect the children in the audience. |
