| However, there were some subtle clues embedded in the interview that indicated a shared past between The Noor and Pam. We were so intrigued by Noory's uncanny knowledge of Pam's history that we knew there had to be more there, so we sent our spies off to Hollywood to get the scoop. It turns out that way back in 1989, George Noory was the lead actor in a short lived series about lifeguards and crap like that. After test audiences vehemently rejected "Noorwatch", mostly due to its esoteric leanings, the geniuses in Hollywood dropped Noory in favor of more established TV actor David Hasselhoff and phased out the esoteric content in favor of more T & A. Hoagland, perhaps sensing the writing was on the wall for his character "Hoagie", quit in protest over the ouster of Noory. All that remains of "Noorwatch" is this lone ad that was discovered by one of our interns who has a TV Guide collection. |
