My sources in Hollywood tell me that test screening audiences for Noory Leap were resoundingly negative. Considering that this comes after the debacle that was the Noory & ALF talk show, insiders were growing more than a little leery that Sci Fi would "get" C2C.

So the braintrust in La La Land did what they do best: inserting wayward quasi-celebrities into already successful series.

Plans were quickly drawn up to develop a series that cultivated C2C's unique esoteric style, took advantage of an already popular Sci Fi Channel vehicle, and satisfied Noory's two biggest demands : critical acclaim and a sexy co-star.

So ... coming soon to Sci Fi Channel ...
