12.6.5 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Bill Ryan, Whitley Strieber, Richard Dtoy, and Richard C. Hoagland, Topic : Project Serpo

A shadowy episode that forwarded the ongoing internet rumour that there was some kind of anonymous disclosure of a US / ET exchange program in the 1960's. The episode was punctuated by pop-ins from Strieber and Hoagland who alluded to the possibilities that this was true. The episode was also punctuated by an extended appearance by (former ?) government disinfo agent Richard Doty, whom Noory seemed to think was both retired and legitimate. A great episode, albeit probably entirely untrue, that was indicitive of the problems facing Ufology today (i.e. no one believes anyone anymore).

Bonus Points :For Noory thinking Doty was making a revelation about disinforming Linda Moulton Howe in the '80's, when Doty had already admitted to that in February on ... Coast to Coast AM.

12.8.5 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : R. Gary Patterson, Topic : John Lennon Assassination

Held on the 25th anniversary of the assassination of John Lennon, this episode was a darker version of the usual pop culture insanity than ensues when RGP is a guest on the show. Lots of fascinating stuff on Mark David Chapman, Lennon's numerological obsession, and the fact that Lennon seemed to think he would die in a brutal fashion. An excellent diversion from the usual esoteric stuffs from Coast, but still grounded in the paranormal.

Bonus Points :Pattersons's phone kept disconnecting at key moments of the interview and Noory almost called it off numerous times until finally a stable phone line was found.

12.14.5 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Peter Gersten, Topic : Ufology, 2012, 11:11

Former bigwig in Ufology, the "UFO lawyer" Peter Gersten re-emerged from veritable seclusion to talk about all things Ufology and his odd theories on 2012 and 11:11. Great stuff from Gersten giving his background on what it was like in the hazy days of 1980's Ufology. He also crapped all over Project Serpo, ostensibly the topic C2C wanted him on to discuss in the first place, noting Richard Doty's status as government disinfo agent and how no one should believe him (much to Noory's surprise). Gersten's 2012 and 11:11 stuff was vague at best and awful at worst, but it made for entertaining radio for sure.

Bonus Points :For Gersten's various pot shots at Ufology and "constructive criticism" of Richard C. Hoagland, C2C's golden boy.

12.26.5 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Mike Heiser, Topic : Da Vinci Code

A great episode where Mike Heiser stripped the Da Vinci Code of its mystique, explaining that even if Da Vinci believed the possible theories in the "Code", that doesn't mean that they are true. He moved on to discuss his "feud" with Zecharia Sitchen and both he and Noory took slight pot shots at Sitchen for his appearance the previous week. Excellent across-the-board discussion on ancient civilizations and religion from a master of linguistics.

Bonus Points :For the detailed background on Heiser's challenge to Sitchen, an often verboten topic on Coast.

12.31.5 -- Host : Art Bell, Guest : None, Topic : 2006 Predictions

The second of two nights where Art Bell held his annual Predictions special. Some truly wacky and odd predictions punctuated this episode, in stark contrast to the dire predictions of previous years. The episode also saw numerous hilarious instances of Art getting frustrated with callers who still had their radio on, a classic Art Bell pet peeve.

Note : Sadly, this episode featured the final appearance on C2C of Art's wife Ramona Bell who shouted "Happy New Year !" in the background just prior to midnight.

1.1.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Joseph Jacobs, Dr. Louis Turi, Merlin Project, Hans King, Sean David Morton, Gerald Celente, Robert Camp, and Aaron Donahue , Topic : Predictions Special

Noory's psychic fetish reached a fever pitch as he had 8 psychic on the show, each getting a half hour of time to play prognosticator for '06. This epside was a blur of foreseen events, some foolish, some serious, all most likely not to come true. Dr. Louis Turi talked about how he rode his correct Katrina Prediction to worldwide fame. Joe Jacobs talked about how he correctly suggested "problems with water" for '06. Sean David Morton whined about only getting a half hour of time. Gerald Celente just plain whined, but it was hilarious. Aaron Donahue was forced to be interviewed by his nemesis George Noory. It was a psychic bash to end all bashes.

Bonus Points : For Noory's no-selling of SDM's question of when he could get a full episode appearance by just giving out his website and going to commercial at the end of the hour.

1.3.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : "Psychic" Sylvia Browne, Topic : '06 Predictions

The early contender for 2006's Coaster Episode saw Sylvia Browne make a fool of herself on national radio when she and Noory were celebrating the incorrect news that 12 trapped miners had been found alive. Sylvia would say she "knew they would be found". Then, about a half hour later, news came out that the original report was incorrect and that the miners were, in fact, dead. Sylvia did a 180 and said that "I didn't believe they were alive." Noory was as flummoxed as everyone else, playing both clips after Sylvia had left the show and told everyone to "decide for themselves". This episode also went 5 hours as opposed to the usual 4 hour long show.

Bonus Points : For Fox News picking up the story of Sylvia's flip flopping and spreading the story throughout the world even more.

1.12.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Jerome Corsi and Michael Ruppert, Topic : C2C Oil Debate

The second "theme episode" of 2006 featured Jerome Corsi and Michael Ruppert duking it out in the C2C Oil Debate. Corsi took the abiotic oil approach and Ruppert was in favor of peak oil. An esoteric slapfight ensued. Detail oriented episode that saw an aggressive Ruppert pelt Corsi with one criticism after another. Strangely enough, Corsi ended up winning the debate via "fast blast" with 62% and only 38% of the audience went with Ruppert, who was gracious in defeat.

Bonus Points : For Ruppert's hilarious attack on the typos in Corsi's book and the hilarious side debate over the difference between "Latin America" and "South America".

1.21.6 -- Host : Art Bell, Guest : Michio Kaku, Topic : "Art Bell returns" / String Theory

One of the most, if not the most, emotionally powerful episodes of Coast to Coast AM ever. After the sudden loss of his wife a mere 3 weeks earlier, Art Bell returned to Coast and spoke to a vast audience that was both stunned and grieving. The first hour, devoted to Art's recollections of Ramona's passing and his response in the days and weeks afterwards, was raw, gripping, and heart breaking. An hour not soon forgotten by anyone who heard it. The full show guest, Michio Kaku, back for his first full episode appearance in about a year, brought his wisdom to the night, discussing space, string theory, and science as only he can.

Bonus Points : For Kaku's retort to Lawrence Krauss, who dared to criticize string theory on a previous edition of Coast. Kaku called Krauss, "illiterate in string theory" and, get this, "only an astronomer". Oh, snap !

1.18.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Alex Jones, Topic : New World Order

Two time Coastie winner for "Guest of the Year", Alex Jones returned to C2C to talk about his latest Bohemian Grove film and how he came upon tons of new material. From there, AJ and The Noor riffed like a pair of old jazz masters, covering political events like the NSA spying scandal and the president of Iran.

Bonus Points : For Noory's quip "I know more about the middle east than most", and the caller who managed to say "Rense" on the show.

1.22.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Michael Shermer, Gary Schwartz, Russel Targ, and Dean Radin, Topic : Skeptics Cage

The third theme episode of '06 featured Michael Shermer, who'd appeared a mere two weeks prior to this episode, facing off against three different esoteric minds in one-on-one debates for an hour each. It started out with a veritable draw with Gary Schwartz, who was far too apologetic. Then, Shermer was bigfooted by Russel Targ, who barely let him say anything other than, "Okay, find Osama Bin Laden" (which turned out to be Shermer's only argument after the halfway point of the show). And, it ended with Dean Radin just pummeling an exhausted Shermer, who kept asking for proof of Bin Laden's whereabouts from the Princeton Eggs (yes, he was that clueless). Fun episode.

Bonus Points : For Shermer's Osama fetish that became a hilarious running joke as the "Skeptics Cage" wore on, the esoteric equivalent of the "thumb to the eye".

1.31.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Darrel Sims, Topic : Abductions

Finishing out January, Noory welcomed Darrel Sims, "alien hunter", to talk about abductions. Excellent episode full of fascinating stories of physical evidence coming from abductees and Sims's methods of figuring out what the ET agenda is all about. Noory was in the zone all night and Sims was delivering quality goods throughout the episode. His stuff on the origins of the "alien hunter" name, his imitations of whiney abductees, and the weird "black light" stories of abduction proof were all fantastic stuff.

Bonus Points : For Noory's fascination with the "insect baby", a story that Sims told that Noory couldn't stop talking about for what seemed to be the rest of the night.

2.1.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Dr. Philip Tierno and Dr. Len Horowitz, Topic : Killer Staph Infections

Noory's unending quest to scoop the mainstream media brought us this breaking episode about pockets of deadly staph infections running around in America. What made this episode Coastie worthy was the fact that first Tierno guested and implied this staph infection thing was bad news and gave some advice. Then, hilariously, Horowitz guested the next hour and essentially crapped all over everything Tierno said. The proverbial ying yang of opinion, leaving the listener to decide who was right and calling for a full on Tierno v. Horowitz throwdown on C2C for the future.

Bonus Points : For the surreal vibe when Horowitz started attacking Tierno. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

2.14.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guest : Steven Hairfield, Topic : 2012

Fantastic episode reeking in zen esoterica, as Hairfield talked about living with Buddist monks who could perform crazy mind feats. Hairfield just reeked of wisdom, quoting various esoteric texts with wreckless abandon. Interesting discussions on existential stuff as well as a potential polar shift.

Bonus Points : For Hairfield's insane prediction that the end of the Mayan calendar was really sometime later this year.

2.18.6 -- Host : Art Bell, Guest : Albert Taylor, Topic : Out of Body Experiences

A classic guest who has a history with C2C, Albert Taylor, joined Art to talk about OBEs. They reminisced about Art calling Taylor from Paris and Art's OBE as well as their mutual friend Dannion Brinkley, paying homage to the C2c hardcore audience who are a part of remember their adventures. Taylor had tons to say about OBEs and it came from someone who has done extensive work. Also, good stuff dealing with how he got into the field as well as odd or taboo subjects like "sex in the astral plane".

Bonus Points : For the "sex in the astral plane" discussion, which was both hilarious and horrifying at the same time.

2.22.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Captain Kelly Sweeney, Charles R. Smith, Steve Quayle, Howard Bloom, Jerome Corsi, Douglas Hagmann, Alex Jones, Topic : UAE Port Controversy Special

Unlike the staph infection scare earlier in the month, this time Noory really did trump the mainstream media by harping on the UAE port deal until they noticed. Once they did, The Noor put together an all star esoteric jam session the likes of which hadn't been since since the 2004 Presidential Election. Everyone was there, including C2C regulars Steven Quayle, Alex Jones, Douglas Hagmann, and Howard Bloom. Throw in Jerome Corsi, who cut his teeth on C2C theme episodes, Charles R. Smith, who loves a good geopolitical slapfight, and egomaniac pirate hater Capt. Kelley Sweeney and it is an esoteric masterpiece. Great cross discussion on various issues, the usual paranoia and illuminati baiting, and lots of fun.

Bonus Points : For the sheer number of great C2C names who appeared, making this a bash worthy of Richard C. Hoagland, who presumably was too ill to attend.

2.23.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : James Fetzer, David Ray Griffin, Morgan Reynolds, Topic : 911 Conspiracy Theories

If its one thing that C2C does shockingly well, its the coverage of the 911 conspiracy. This episode was no exception, featuring James Fetzer ranting and raving for the whole show, peppered with pop-ins from David Ray Griffin and Morgan Reynolds. Griffin was soft spoken as usual and often got trampled by the more vociferous Fetzer, which no doubt brought back flashbacks to Griffin's time in the trenches with C2C's 911 Roundtable last year. Morgan Reynolds brought an air of authority to the proceedings, having had worked in the White House during 911 and even he is having serious doubts about the "official" 911 story. Groundbreaking episode in many ways.

Bonus Points : For Fetzer's charisma and energy level being off the charts, which should earn him a solo return spot.

2.26.6 -- Host : Art Bell, Guest : Aaron Donahue, Topic : Remote Viewing and Lucifer

When it comes to batshit insanity, very few do it better than Aaron Donahue. Bringing the "I know everything" vibe he surely learned from Ed Dames, he proceeded to lecture the audience on the significance of some form of remote viewing he called "P.A.N.". Feisty as ever, he had a number of hilarious moments and few creepy ones as well.

Bonus Points : For Donahue's rant about how he got cut from the movie "Suspect Zero" and the elaborate conspiracy theory that kept him out of the film. Follow that up with the "curse" he laid down where some lady's kid died and you can see why Donahue is a C2C favorite. Donahue's mispronunciation of "Crustateous period" and his subsequent debate over it with a caller were also hilarious.

3.11.6 -- Host : Art Bell, Guests : Peter Davenport & Lynne Kitei, Topic : Phoenix Lights

It's always nice when C2C stalwart Peter Davenport is reuinited with Art Bell and this episode was no different. Spending the first two hours covering the infamous Phoenix Lights case, Davenport produced solid witnesses and experts, including Lynne Kitei. The final hour was spent discussing general Ufology and taking calls.

Bonus Points : For the side discussion on Davenport's impending move to a disbanded missile silo.

3.15.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Katherine Albrecht, Pat Showalter, Celeste Bishop, Topic : RFID

Similar to the previously nominated episode, this Coast consisted of Albrecht being the main guest with Showalter and Bishop serving to give us a "slice of life" example of how new tracking laws are affecting small farmers. Great stuff here, chilling but reasonably believable paranoia. Albrecht's righteous indignation knows no bounds and that's a good thing. The Noor was spot on with his incredulous responses to some of the more outlanding rules related to tracking livestock.

Bonus Points : For Albrecht's side forays into how this whole RFID thing ties into religion.

3.19.6 -- Host : Art Bell, Guests : James McCanney, Topic : Comets

Signs of the classic Bell emerged here, as he was interested in talking about the awful stuff that could happen as a result of comets and he'd be damned if McCanney wasn't going to "go there". Great stuff dealing in sociological theory, Earth changes, conspiracy, and cosmology. The closest thing to a Hoagland and Bell reunion in quite some time.

Bonus Points : For Art's endless citations of various Discovery Channel specials. By the third one, he had me cracking up, big time.

3.22.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Irvin Baxter, Topic : End Times Prophecy

The end is near, so says Irvin Baxter, on an oustanding edition of Coast. While suspect in its veracity, it left no stone unturned when it came to ghastly apocolyptic visions. Baxter did a fine job weaving the Book of Revelations into current events that by the time the episode was over, you were thinking we just might be living through the End.

Bonus Points : For Baxter's discussion on Maitreya, whom he ripped on and claimed probably didn't even exist.

3.29.6 -- Host : George Noory, Guests : Steve Quayle and David Icke, Topic : Terrorism / New World Order Agenda

If ever there was a dream team of esoterica, the Quayle & Icke pairing may have been it. Occupying dual ends of the episode, each held court for 2 hours to discuss terrorism, Charlie Sheen, and the New World Order agenda. Quayle was the perfect set up man for Icke, whipping Noory into a frenzy of righteous indignation over how the world has turned into a fear based state. Icke swiftly moved in to dole out his brand of esoteric stuffs and really knock Noory for a loop.

Bonus Points : For Noory's complaining about Charlie Sheen's Alex Jones Show appearance, saying that he'd made a mistake in not implicating terrorists, indicating his LIHOP mentality.
