4.9.9 Okay, this remote viewing thing is getting just a bit strange for me. And, believe me, that's saying something. It isn't enough that I am psychic and am therefore destined to hear the innermost thoughts of the complete stranger next to me in the elevator, or at a restaurant or, god forbid, in a public washroom. No, that in itself would be easy enough or, at least to some degree, manageable. Thankfully, over the years I have learned to filter my perceptions and sometimes even 'switch off'. But remote viewing, it turns out, is a whole different animal. I actually began the whole remote viewing thing as a child. Of course, at the time I didn't call it 'remote viewing'; mostly I thought of it as 'thinking my way to things'. If a friend claimed he was housebound because of the sniffles I, after watching in my mind as his mother forbid him to play with me, would know differently. I always knew where the lost pets were in the neighborhood. And, of course, when told there were no more cookies, I would see those luscious biscuits waiting in the jar. To me, it seemed entirely natural. And, until recently, it was. Several months ago, after listening to a radio show about Unidentified Submerged Objects, I sat quietly in a darkened room and let my mind wander on the subject. Space ships flying under the sea? I suppose it was possible. And as my thoughts began to focus and my breathing became steadily more shallow, I recognized the beginning of a remote sensing experience. Soon, I was drawn to an area near England. I became aware of a rocky ridge deep under the ocean near the coastline. In the ridge was an opening; a large opening that, although perfectly formed, looked quite natural. It wasn't. Within a few minutes a craft, shaped somewhat like a stingray, glided seamlessly through the water and entered the crevice. I found myself hovering just above the ship. And, as bizarre as it may seem, I was in a flattened, dry tunnel that seemed to stretch for many miles beneath the crust of the earth. The craft maneuvered gracefully and quickly. I had the distinct impression that when in the air the ship was actually a completely different shape than when in the water. In both air and water, however, it moved effortlessly. I entered the craft. It was dimly lit and musty. I felt that the ship had many compartments and, strangely, that it was much larger on the inside than on the outside. And it was very messy and grimy. Immediately, I became aware of a large chair-like object in one area of the room. I seemed to be in a crouching position, but could see the side and arm of the chair. It was black. As I drew slowly nearer to it, I could sense that there was a being in the chair sitting in front of a very simple console; still closer I could see a small stick on the console and some sort of rolling ball embedded in the table. Emotionally, I received a vivid impression from this being, almost a connection of sorts, and I sensed…no, I knew…that the being was very small and was part biological and part mechanical. It also seemed to emanate a cheerful, almost innocent feeling; as if it were quite simple. The impression was very intense. Then, just as I was nearing the shoulder of the being, I became suddenly aware of another presence, this time much more menacing. He was taller, pale and emanated a powerful wave of disgust and anger toward me. I grasped the quick insight that the small creature was seen almost as an extension of the ship and I was mucking with the equipment. And, to my astonishment, both he and the small being were completely aware of me. I fled. It was almost as if the tall being's hatred for me triggered a deeply felt survival instinct. I returned from my remote sensing session in a cold sweat and gasping for breath but was otherwise unharmed. Did they actually see me? I had no idea that such a thing was possible and, I have to say, it scared me. What scared me more, however, is what happened a few days later. While shopping at a local drug store I became aware of a strange man that seemed to be following me. And I mean strange. He was extremely pale and was clearly wearing a disguise. He wore a black, unevenly cropped wig, big heavy boots and was dressed in dark, almost old-fashioned biker type clothing. As if that were not bizarre enough, as soon as I became aware of him, I instantly felt that he knew I had spotted him. I have no idea how long he had been following me. As he left the store and began walking across the street, I watched him. On the back of his biker-like jacket was a bright white Omega symbol. Other people, even the cashier at the front counter, seemed to ignore him completely, which was very odd. Later, it dawned on me that perhaps other people saw him quite differently than I did. Nevertheless, he was the most bizarre person I had ever seen in my life and, it seemed obvious to me, there was something quite otherworldly about him. And then, when he was halfway across the street, I was briefly distracted by the sound of screeching tires. I looked away for two, perhaps three, seconds – there was no eminent car accident -- and then looked back. He was gone…just gone. No where to be seen. Vanished. Did I just have my first 'Men In Black' experience? If so, obviously these 'Men In Black' were not from earth…that much was very clear. And that much scares me. I never want to have this experience again. It was, to say the least, extremely creepy. |
