Geopolitical genius Webster Tarpley returns to BoA:Audio for a jam-packed session of the program. We find out about the financial crisis, how the geopolitical landscape has changed to an America v. Russia / China one instead of US v. Middle East, why things went from Bush & Co. to Obama & Co. if Bush had such a stranglehold of power, Obama and how he is the banker's puppet (so says Webster), why the solutions offered by the Republicans are just as bad as the Obama plans, what to do to get out of the financial mess for both regular people and the world, 911 & the 911 Truth Movement and why it has gotten derailed (fascinating stuff), and if are we past the point of trying to stop a New World Order.

Yes, it's a political episode of the program, but Webster is critical of just about everyone (Obama, Bush, the Democrats, Republicans, Ron Paul, everyone), so I have a feeling that no matter who you like, they will get stomped on and everyone is equally stomped.

Full Preview: We kick things off by discussing the updated re-issue of Webster's 1999 book, which foretold the financial crisis, Surviving the Cataclysm. Webster explains how the present financial crisis unfolded to the point we are at today. We then turn to perhaps the most pressing question for the BoA:Audio listeners and find out what the average person can do to weather the financial crisis. He explains why some of the more popular notions in and around esoterica, such as growing your own foods and vegetables, is "a fool's paradise." This leads to discussion on what needs to be done, on a larger political scale, to survive the current recession / depression. Webster starts by taking issue with President Obama, who he calls a "Wall Street puppet," and Obama's bailout package, union busting practices, and health care plan. Looking at the other side of the coin, Webster also explains why the Republican perspective on the financial crisis is just as misguided as the Obama plans, focusing more on the destruction of the "social safety net." Webster suggests a "New Deal alternative" in the form of a return to the "American system of political economy" as a replacement for the "Free Market" system. He puts forth the need for an internal challenge to Obama from within the Democratic party as opposed to letting the Republicans take the helm. He also explains his "Obama Formula" which says that "Obama = Carter + LBJ + Nixon." Again, looking at the other side of the debate, he also explains why the present state of the Republican party is wrought with problems as well. He offers solutions for the GOP as far as which sorts of concepts the party should be backing. Stepping away from the economy and into geopolitics, we first discuss why the balance of power shifted from the neoconservative Bush administration to the Obama administration. Webster identifies some of the background players behind the Obama rise to power, details what he thinks is the global plan of these new power brokers and how it dramatically differs from war in the Middle East.

The "Lost" BoA:Audio Interview with Webster Tarpley Back in the Fall of 2005, we conducted our first interview with Webster Tarpley. Dubbed a "Special Session," the conversation was posted to BoA at the time, but, since it was not part of our traditional seasonal format, it quickly slipped through the cracks and fell out of both the audio archive & podcast feed. In light of Webster's triumphant return to the program, we're re-posting that 2005 interview which covers the 911 attack in-depth as well as pressing news of the time. Webster outlines where he sees the focus of the present US military / intelligence machinations are, starting with backing small countries that neighbor Russia, such as Kosovo and Georgia. Webster uses the recent uprising in Iran as an example of what we may be seeing in the future in countries that could be "useful" to US plans for global domination. He also addresses the concerns that Iran may have nuclear weapons and reveals that his research indicates that they likely already do have such weapons.

He also explains how the 'plan,' as it were, may be flawed in the sense that Russia and China already realize that these puppet nations are working at the behest of the US. He details the 'dream scenario' of the US power brokers with regard to their present plans. Webster highlights conflict in Sri Lanka between the Chinese-backed Sri Lanka military against the separatist Tamil Tigers, backed by the UK/US, as an example of how China is keen to the US's plans to control areas around the Indian Ocean.

Jumping to 911, we talk about how the 911 Truth Movement has really lost momentum in the last few years and Webster, a major player in the 911 TM, explains where he thinks things went wrong. He reveals how the false promises of Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul were hugely detrimental to the movement as well as how the present economic crisis makes it difficult to get the average person to care about a 911 conspiracy. This leads to Webster conveying concern about the potential for a new false flag terror attack, in light of how the current state of Obama's presidency mirrors the same period in Bush's reign, also weeks before 911. Webster outlines what people should be looking for in the news, should a false flag attack be in the works.

Heading towards the close of this fast paced interview, we get Webster's take on the idea that maybe it is too late to stop a New World Order and that all hope for that is futile. He points out areas around the world where we can find potential for brighter developments for everyone and spells out a five-point political plan for what the government needs to do to get out of the financial crisis.
