We start out by getting some background on Paola and how she got interested in the UFO phenomenon, including the serendipitous events that brought her to J. Allen Hynek. She talks about what it was like studying under Hynek, who served as an early mentor for her. We also get some insight into Hynek's mindset as he neared the end of his life. Continuing our discussion on Paola's early influences, we talk about her close friendship with Col. Philip Corso and the strange turn of events that resulted in her meeting Corso for the first time.

She talks about what shocked her the most about the Corso story and also talks about Corso's trips to Italy. She responds to the criticism of the Corso story from many in Ufology. she also clears up the story of a second Corso book written in Italian, titled "Dawn of a New Age".

Continuing the discussion on some of Paola's early influences, we talk about her close friendship with Dr. John Mack. We also talk about her friend Monsignor Corrado Balducci, what he found to be the most important part of the UFO study and Balducci's thoughts on what the Bible says about UFOs. Wrapping up the discussion of early influences in Paola's research career, we talk about Clifford Stone, his story and his reaction to being a whistleblower in the field of Ufology.

Moving on from there, we find out Paola's perspective on American Ufology today and how the exopolitical movement has changed her focus and rejuvinated her UFO research, including what she calls a groundbreaking meeting with Paul Hellyer. She compares the European Ufology scene compared to its American counterpart. She talks about how the infighting in Ufology and the lack of cohesion is a big problem facing American Ufology today.

We find out Paola's perspective on being a woman in the field of Ufology. Paola also talks about the need for a more global perspective on the UFO phenomenon. She also talks about how the lack of money in Ufology prevents good field research. Does Paola see Ufology going towards the exopolitical stance in the future ? We talk about the evolution of the Italian UFO scene since the early 1900's. We find out the extent of public government investigation of UFOs in Italy. Paola explains what the situation is in Italy as far as UFO organizations like the US's MUFON. She gives an example of how a typical UFO case is handled in Italy as comparison to America. Paola explains how the general public in Europe sees the UFO phenomenon and how the rich history of the region may has shaped that perspective. Since Paola is situated so close to the Vatican, binnall tries to get some word on the inside buzz on the papacy's take on the UFO phenomenon.

Did J. Allen Hynek give any perspective on "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" and the rumoured government influences on the film. This segues into a discussion on disclosure and if disclosure played out how it would start outside the US first. We continue our discussion on ufo disclosure, how Paola sees it playing out and is she optimistic to see disclosure in her lifetime. Paola lays out situations where we may see ETs reveal themselves and take UFO disclosure out of human hands. We find out what does Paola thinks the reaction to that would be and what she hopes would never happen in such a scenario.

Paola explains the need to expand and evolve science around the UFO phenomenon, instead of trying to squeeze Ufology into contemporary science. Paola tells us about her interview with Paul Hellyer and the discussion they had on the UFO phenomenon. Paola responds to the critics of the Hellyer story who claim he is basing everything on "The Day After Roswell". She talks about how the Hellyer story is an example of the trend of attacking newcomers in the field of Ufology.

We get an update on the Brazilian disclosure story that broke in April of 2005 and hasn't gotten much publicity in the time since it became news. She gives an example of research being done in conjunction between American and Brazilian UFO researchers and how that is a trend of "global Ufology" that she'd like to see develop more. We talk about how there seems to be no solution to solving the lack of funding available for UFO research.

The conversations moves on to talking about the lack of a younger generation in Ufology, why hasn't the field generated more interest from young people and why that trend is different outside of the US. Paola details the Italian Ufology scene's perspective of US Ufology. We discuss if there resentment or frustration in European Ufology circles over the US Ufology community and what is a major misconception in Europe as to what the US knows about UFOs.

We get an update on the Charles Hall story that Paola was involved with in early 2005. She extrapolates on why she thinks it is a very important study of galactic diplomacy. This segues to discussing the SERPO story and we find out what Paola thinks of it.

Given Paola's scope of international UFO interest, we find out if she's heard any buzz coming out of China, Japan, or other parts of Asia regarding the UFO phenomenon. She tell us what country in that part of the world is really picking up on the esoteric right now.

We find out how Paola decides, as a researcher, which cases are worth investigating. Paola talks about what cases she'd like to research. She also talks about what she's working on right now that excites her more than any particular UFO case and, also, what new area of research she'd like to explore. She also talks about her slate of European conference appearances for the Fall.

Paola gives a preview of her next book, "How Does One Speak to a Ball of Light : Exopolitical Implications for Future Contact" and when she hopes it will be available. She also previews a new exopolitics based website that she is developing.

Paola Harris is an Italo-American photojournalist and investigative reporter in the field of extraterrestrial related phenomena research. She is also a widely published, free-lance writer, especially in Europe. She has studied extraterrestrial related phenomena since 1979 and is on personal terms with many of the leading researchers in the field. From 1980-1986 she assisted Dr. J. Allen Hynek with his UFO investigations and has interviewed many top military witnesses concerning their involvement in the government truth embargo.

In 1997, Ms. Harris met and interviewed Col. Philip Corso in Roswell, New Mexico and became a personal friend and confidante. She was instrumental in having his book The Day After Roswell, for which she wrote the preface, translated into Italian. She returned to Roswell in the summer of 2003 for the American debut of her book, Connecting the Dots…making sense of the UFO Phenomena, published by Granite Press.

Because of her international perspective on extraterrestrial related phenomena and her work with Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Paola has consulted with many researchers about the best avenues for planetary disclosure with emphasis on the “big picture” and stressing the historical connection.
