As our celebratory final season continues towards the end, we welcome back the first person in the paranormal who ever gave Binnall the time of day: beloved UFO researcher and author Peter Robbins.

We kick things off by reminiscing about that fateful first encounter at the 2004 X-Conference in Washington D.C. as well as observations about the nature of UFO conferences after all these years.

We then pivot to the big UFO story of the moment, which is the Pentagon UFO revelations and Peter shares his take on them based on his exhaustive research into the UFO coverage done by the New York Times, where the article just so happened to appear.

This leads to some talk about the late Budd Hopkins as well as Jim Marrs’ passing and how the deaths of these icons serves as a solemn reminder that we just may not get the answers to these questions in our lifetimes and that this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Next we muse a bit about how the perception of the ETH has changed over the years as well as Peter’s thoughts on why it’s important to challenge skeptics who are spouting nonsense rather than let them continue to spread misconceptions about the phenomenon.

We also talk about disclosure and the challenges of getting the public galvanized behind the UFO issue. This segues into some talk about the importance of not making UFOs the sole focus of one’s life and the need to have outside interests, lest one lose their mind from this crazy field.

From there, we find out if there is a paranormal subject, aside from UFOs, that has captured Peter’s attention over the years. This results in the revelation that Peter traveled by himself throughout Asia and the Middle East in the early 1970′s.

He then proceeds to detail how this jaw-dropping adventure came to be and shares some incredible stories about the journey. We dig into some of the aspects of Peter’s experience which were wholly unique to the 1970′s timeframe before technology took over the world.

Nearing the end of the conversation, Peter reflects on his work within the field and how one makes a career in this field where making a living is quite difficult.

We also talk about how pervasive technology has become in modern times, for both good and bad, and the looming arrival of AI. And, closing out the conversation, we muse a bit more about the true gifts of the field, which are the friends we’ve made along the way, and what the future may hold.
